🏍 NEW Cambodia Tours & KTM 890s in Patagonia

Well, we thought it’s about time to send out an update to all of our lovely rider readers… We’ve been remiss recently, what with all the busyness of running rides and riding recces taking precedence over the poor ol’ neglected newsletter.

This year alone we have already run 8 incredible tours across South America & South East Asia…

We completed our very first tour in the stunning Patagonia region for the epic ‘World’s End’ tour (on our recently purchased KTM 890 Adventure Rs no less!).

Our second run has just come to an end and the third of the season will start early March (2 spots left if anyone’s keen for a last minute booking!).

THE WORLD’S END

Whilst The World’s End was underway, a little further North, we also had our fantastic Colombian Trailblazer on the go.

Spinning the globe around to Asia we ran the Ho Chi Minh Trail as well Dirt & Secrets over in Laos and the (now retired) Tumble in the Jungle down in Cambodia.

What a way to kick off 2023!

SPEAKING OF CAMBODIA

The reason we mention that Tumble in the Jungle is now defunct is because Ride Ex owner and route planner Toby has been a busy bee over Christmas, planning two new and improved itineraries for his beloved Cambodia.

Cambodia has been a fast developing country in recent years, so Toby set out with the mission of creating new adventures that got as far off of the beaten track as possible, steering clear of all the new roads and planning routes that showcase the ‘old Cambodia’ – the ‘real Cambodia’ – the ‘original Cambodia’. Think buffalo carts, stilted houses, rickety bridges, dusty villages, endless trails, ancient lost temples and riverside markets.

The new itineraries are the culmination of over 10 years experience of our leading tours in the Kingdom, a combination of Toby & Vut’s (our Cambodian business partner) knowledge of the countryside, and an immense love for this incredible country.

Cambodia is where Ride Expeditions was born. It’s an incredibly special country full of amazing people and we wanted to do it justice. These new itineraries are that justice. The ‘real Cambodia’ is what you’ll experience on these trips from start to finish, and we can’t wait to get going with them! Oh, and we’ll be bringing new bikes in to kick off the season in November this year!
