10 REASONS TO TOUR WITH RIDE EXPEDITIONS
This may seem like an obvious one, but you’d be surprised how many motorcycle tour companies operate without any insurance at all… in fact, it’s harder to find a company that HAS insurance than a company does not. Try for yourself!
The reason for this? It’s hard to get. Insurance companies only offer cover to companies that meet their strict safety standards and local regulations. They require all tours are operated responsibly, with thorough risk assessments conducted before the tyres can hit the tarmac (…or dirt!).
So if a company does not have insurance, it’s quite likely that this is because they do not meet the insurers high standards.
Here at Ride Expeditions, we take the necessary precautions to ensure that we protect both ourselves and you as the customer, with insurances covering financial failure, public liability, professional indemnity and employers liability.
Feel free to ask us about this and we’ll happily send you more details and proof of insurances.
Ride Expeditions Ltd was created and is owned by, Toby Jacobs and Anna Giddings. After travelling the world, they’ve taken it from a dream to a fantastically successful motorcycle tour company operating across the globe. Everything they and their staff do is to make sure their customers have epic holidays, with a no compromise approach.
Running motorcycle tours takes hard work, commitment and above all passion. Before setting up our tours we research the area and seek only the best local operators with whom to partner & work. We only work with established companies with the same passion and commitment as us.
Our motorcycle tours travel through some extremely remote corners of the planet & motorcycle riding naturally comes with risks. Riding unfamiliar bikes in unfamiliar countries increases that risk, so we take safety very, very seriously.
The first step is to ensure that only suitably experienced and licensed riders come on our tours – we don’t want you learning the basics with us!
On all motorcycle tours with Ride Expeditions you can ride with peace of mind, knowing that if something does go wrong, we’ve got your back! All of our motorcycle tours are tracked via GPS, so our office team and doctor can see exactly where you are at any given time. If there is an accident, our office & consulting doctor will immediately spring into action offering assistance to the support team & medic on the ground and liaise with your travel insurance company if required.
We commit to donating a percentage of profits from each and every tour to a local charity in Cambodia called M’Lop Tapang. We feel that it is only right that we give something back and that some of our money is spent doing good in the world.
Also for every single rider, Ride Expeditions plant a tree. It may only be a small gesture but over the years, that’s a lot of trees we’ve put in the ground.
We appreciate that all our riders have busy lives, and once you’ve decided on a tour, you want the booking process needs to be swift and pain free, so that’s exactly what we offer. We can assist with pre & post tour accommodation, advise on travel insurance and visas and a whole lot more.
We can accept GBP payments by visa, mastercard & American Express & GBP, EUR, AUD, USD & NZD payments via direct bank transfers.
Just one booking deposit & one final tour payment required = easy!
Although there is a standard cost for all our tours, we do offer discounts for group or club bookings and can offer bespoke private tours for groups if required. We also offer early bird discounts and of course we reward returning customers every time they ride with us!
All of our tours are accompanied by a fully equipped support vehicle which transports your luggage along with carrying a comprehensive tool kit, spare parts and fuel and sometimes lunch! Also if you’re feeling tired, you can always ride in the truck.
So maybe this should be the first one in the list, but it’s a good point on which to finish. Ride Expeditions is all about bikes – from our ride leaders, tour staff, website staff, company owners – we are all bike obsessed – that’s why we do this! When we’re not riding bikes, we’re thinking about riding bikes.
