Pillion Friendly?
No
This tour is not pillion-friendly. We ride enduro-style motorcycles that do not accommodate passengers. Additionally, some sections we ride can get technical, especially when it’s raining.
Terrain
70% unpaved
Approximately 30% of this route is paved, and 70% is unpaved. While this is not a hard-enduro-style tour, there are sections of sandy tracks and short rocky bits. It is important to note that some days will be more challenging, especially after rain, as we ride alongside rivers.
Total Distance KM
1750
This is the total riding distance from start to finish. This is not exact, and the real distance covered may be affected by conditions and factors out of our control.
Support
Fully supported and guided
Our Mongolian tours depart with a support vehicle, our driver, and a mechanic. We ride with a spare motorcycle, spare tools and parts on the trailer in our support vehicle. We always have a local guide/tour manager qualified as a wilderness first responder, with access to 24-hour doctor support, GPS tracking, and a satellite phone.

Standard of Accommodation
4 (out of 10)
This is our best effort to provide an average accommodation rating on tour based on various factors and additional amenities. We've hand-picked accommodations that will enhance your experience while on tour - you'll feel like you're in Mongolia here, and the stays in ger camps range from comfortable to very basic.
Difficulty Rating (overall)
5 (out of 10)
This is our best effort to give an average rating for the trip, based on the average rider. This is subjective though, and will vastly depend on your own riding experience and ability. It can also vary depending on the weather conditions during your trip. If you're new to enduro bikes or have minimal off-road riding experience, you might find certain sections more challenging than others. The tour features some sandy tracks and riverside riding, which can be tricky for new off-roaders. If you're in any doubt about your riding ability, or if this difficulty rating concerns you, we strongly recommend you arrange a chat with one of our experienced tour leaders.
Average Daily Ride Hours
6 - 7
We plan to ride within the six-hour-a-day timeline; however, this can vary from group to group and depends on weather conditions and road changes. Some days on the Warrior's Trail reach the six-hour mark, especially if there has been rain.

Riding Without Borders Across Mongolia

Tour Overview

Mongolia delivers adventure on every level. Vast steppes, plains, lakes and rivers stretch across a landscape that shifts as you ride. Its remote beauty and silence are captivating, and its history is still written across the land.

Bordered by Russia to the north and China to the south, Mongolia carries the lasting legacy of Genghis Khan. Eight centuries on, his presence is everywhere, from the giant statue outside Ulaanbaatar to the stories that echo across this country of warriors.

The riding will bowl you over. Hundreds of kilometres of uninterrupted trails run in every direction, with no borders, fences or boundaries to hold you back. This is dirt bike heaven.

The Warrior’s Trail is a mother-of-a-route: sweeping trails through epic landscapes, exhilarating flat-out gravel roads and tracks that wind into cool pine forests. We spend most of the tour on unmarked gravel tracks, so daily distances are only a guide and not always precise, but we guarantee you will not be counting the kilometres on the bike out here.

Stay in traditional yurts, ride alongside wild horses and watch the land transform before your eyes.

This is the Warrior’s Trail, where freedom is yours to embrace.
