Have you found yourself eyeing a trip to Colombia, but Enduro is not quite your thing? Well…
This June, we’ll be riding out for the first time on our brand new, lightweight adventure motorcycle tour of Colombia, Hidden Treasures.
We’ve been touring Colombia since 2019, but it’s always been on enduro bikes on terrain suitable only for experienced off-road riders. That tour is called the Colombian Trailblazer, and it is epic! But now, we’re launching something new…a new way to ride, experience and tour in this wonderful country.
Enter the Honda XR 300.
It’s an off-road capable bike, but much more of a dual-sport or lightweight adventure bike. Essentially, it’s the Latin-American equivalent of the Honda CRF300L we’re more used to in Europe, and it’s the perfect tool for our Hidden Treasures motorcycle tour of Colombia.
This new route starts in Bogotá and heads north, finishing up on the Caribbean coast in Cartagena. It’s a sublime route that gets far off the beaten track, crossing mountains, rivers and open plains on a variety of terrain that, while incorporating a large amount of off-road, is achievable for riders without a ton of off-road experience.
Colombia is incredible, and we want more people to experience it. With the launch of the new tour on the comfortable Honda, we hope that it’ll mean more of you can join us on an immense adventure across a country that really does feel like an undiscovered gem.
