Hard Alpi Tour : Adventure bikes Photo Fest #1
On September 8th, the small city of Sanremo was the scene of an invasion. Hundreds of fully loaded adventure bikes and riders descended on the stylish Italian riviera resort for the infamous Hard Alpi Tour organised by Over200riders.com. With sponsorship from Yamaha, Garmin and host of other adventure companies it’s a pretty massive event – they even had the launch in the vast Sanremo Casino with the exquisite Yamaha T7 making a rare appearance.
The 800 km long event has three classes – Extreme, Discovery and Classic and draws riders and their adventure bikes from all over Europe and indeed the world to ride the route from Sanremo to Sestriere. The extreme riders headed out at 11pm to blast over tough military roads in complete darkness – not that’s hardcore riding.
