Reaching New Heights in the Himalayas |

| Himalayan Recce | Reaching New Heights | Last month we mentioned that Toby is taking a special trip to the highest motorable pass in the world, Umling La. The trip has been spectacular and we’ve shared the progress on social media (it’s clear to see Toby’s happy place is in the saddle getting lost high in the mountains). |
|
| | New routes for 2025 in store | The recce, which helps us take stock of the routes, bikes, itineraries, accommodation spots, any additional support issues we should be aware of, and so much more, has been a phenomenal success. We’ve found epic new roads, secured routes for our 2025 itineraries that will blow your mind, and found solutions to problems that might arise (like finding the best possible solution for emergency medical care at high altitudes or remote areas like the Himalayas). The updated itineraries will be released in the coming months as we gear up for the planned upgrades for the next Himalayan season. | In case you missed it |

| | | The stories we tell | We BBQ in a bomb on an abandoned runway | As far as incredible experiences in an exotic destination go, this one is a favourite. Our Ho Chi Minh Trail and Dirt & Secrets tours are a history lover’s dream and some of our more immersive tours where you get to touch down in the places that have long been shrouded in mystery – like the old CIA airbase in Long Cheng that was once known as “the world’s most secret place”. Taking it all in from the hills surrounding the runway is a bitter sweet moment considering the history of the area and the immensely beautiful surroundings. However, the experience, which has only recently been made available to visitors and tourists, is out of this world. We ride the 1200m tarmac and have a BBQ right on the runway – The BBQ is fashioned out of an old bomb. We also overnight on the base. It doesn’t get cooler than this. |
